Kamille Lucas brought in the game-winning run with an RBI-double that scored Kayla Morales for the go-ahead run.
Silva was credited with the win, striking out three Mariners batters as she pitched a complete game, allowing just five hits and one earned run in the historic victory.
FMU returns to the diamond on Friday, April 11 as they face Webber on the road. First pitch is slated for 12 noon in Babson Park, Florida.
