Schedule Treatment

Florida Memorial's Sports Medicine department is responsible for the health care needs of approximately 400 student-athletes over 13 varsity/developmental athletic teams. Our Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) provide the following services to best serve our student-athletes' needs under the direction of and in collaboration with an orthopedic physician and other related health care professionals:

  • Recognition, Evaluation, and Treatment of all orthopedic injuries (e.g., joint sprains, muscle strains, concussions, etc.)
  • Therapeutic Intervention
  • Critical Incident Management
  • Risk Reduction
  • Wellness and Health Literacy

Our top priority is the overall health of our student athletes. We strive to maintain and return student athletes to competition at an efficient and effective rate.

Athletic Training Room Rules:

  • Appointments must be scheduled for student-athletes to receive evaluation(s) and/or treatment.
  • Acute injuries should be reported within 24 hours to ensure the proper care is received.
