Florida Memorial's Sports Medicine department is responsible for the health care needs of approximately 400 student-athletes over 13 varsity/developmental athletic teams. Our Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) provide the following services to best serve our student-athletes' needs under the direction of and in collaboration with an orthopedic physician and other related health care professionals:
- Recognition, Evaluation, and Treatment of all orthopedic injuries (e.g., joint sprains, muscle strains, concussions, etc.)
- Therapeutic Intervention
- Critical Incident Management
- Risk Reduction

Our top priority is the overall health of our student athletes. We strive to maintain and return student athletes to competition at an efficient and effective rate.
