Ariyuana DuPont joined the FMU softball team in spring of 2024.

A native to Gibsonton, Fla., DuPont graduated from East Bay High School in 2023 where she was on the softball and cheerleading teams. Under head coach Glen Rodriguez, she earned a player of the game award and participated in student government, senior steering and was named to the national honors society.

DuPont played for the Pinellas Warriors team for three years where under head coach Anthony Johnson she learned that it’s okay to make a mistake it’s all about what you do after you make the mistake.

DuPont chose FMU because she liked the atmosphere and it felt like home. She liked that coach CJ is hard on her players because that shows she’s really passionate about what she does. Her favorite part about FMU is Being apart of the softball team and making connections with her teammates. DuPont's interests include:
