Bernard “BJ” Poole is a dedicated and innovative football coach with extensive experience developing high-performing offensive lines and mentoring student-athletes across Florida and Georgia. Over his coaching career, Poole has built a reputation for technical mastery in offensive line play, adaptability across multiple offensive schemes, and a relentless commitment to building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Coach Poole’s coaching journey began in 2007 at Miami Edison in FL, and has included impactful roles at Miami Norland High School, Miami Edison High School, Godby High School in Tallahassee, and Cedar Grove High School in Georgia. He also served in multiple coaching capacities while in the United States Army where he developed leadership and mentorship skills as a cannon crew chief. Throughout his career, Poole has demonstrated an exceptional ability to translate complex football concepts into actionable coaching, make effective in-game adjustments, and leverage technology to drive player development. His individualized coaching plans and data-driven approach have consistently produced all-conference and collegiate-level linemen.
