Lions Crushes Trinity Baptist College 72-50

Florida Memorial University Men's Basketball team (1-2, 0-0 TSC) routs  Trinity Baptist College  Friday night at Russell Bucky Dent Park for their first win of the season.


In a first half that was relatively unevenly-match, Florida Memorial opened the game on a 27-13 run, The Lions led by 14 points with 5:04 to play in the first half. The teams went into the locker room with Florida Memorial up by 11 points 34-23. 

Coming out of the break, the Lions continued to pour on the offense at the start of the second frame with 4:10 left on the clock they were leading by 30 points (72-42).  The team shot 32 percent from the field in the second frame, as opposed to 40 percent in the first; the Lions also shot 41 percent clip from beyond the arc and 9-of-11 from the charity stripe in the second half.  Florida Memorial out shot Trinity Baptist, registering a 36.2 percent clip from the field while Trinity Baptist was 28.1 percent. While out-rebounding their opponent by a 43-28 margin.  

  
Aluk Adub led the Lions with 12 points 7 rebounds and 1 Steal. While Shaquille Harding  scored 10 points, 9 rebounds,  and 3 assists. 
Aundre Reid poured in 10 points and  2 rebound and Samuel Dorismond chip in 8 points .

Florida Memorial Lions will return to the hardwood on Sunday, November 22, When  they travel to Allen University  with Tip-off at 4:00pm
