MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Florida Memorial men's soccer cruised to a 3-1 win over Warner University on Saturday evening at Vicaya Park in Miramar, Florida. Florida Memorial used a balanced offensive attack to steal the win.  The Lions improved to 3-4 and 2-2 in Conference play, as they were able to outshoot Warner 16-5 throughout the game.

Florida Memorial's Marco Perreta got the Lions on the board in the first 6 minute of the match for his first goal of the season. Maximilliano Schendfeld picked up the second goal of the game to help the Lions take a 2-0 lead at the half.

Florida Memorial came out strong in the second half as they flipped the field and grabbed the momentum in the early going as Juan Cruz Pegoraro scored a goal to extend Florida Memorial's lead and seal the win.

The Lions controlled the game with a 16-5 edge in shots and a 7-2 edge in shots on target.  The Lions did not allow a goal in the first half game.  Alejandro Quiriti made his seventh start of the season as goalie for Florida Memorial and came away with the win, thanks in part to four saves on the evening.
