MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Florida Memorial men's soccer cruised to a 3-1 win over Warner University on Saturday evening at Vicaya Park in Miramar, Florida. Florida Memorial used a balanced offensive attack to steal the win. The Lions improved to 3-4 and 2-2 in Conference play, as they were able to outshoot Warner 16-5 throughout the game.

Marco Perreta got the Lions on the board in the first 6 minute of the match for his first goal of the season. M
aximilliano Schendfeld picked up the second goal of the game to help the Lions take a 2-0 lead at the half.

Juan Cruz Pegoraro scored a goal to extend Florida Memorial's lead and seal the win.
The Lions controlled the game with a 16-5 edge in shots and a 7-2 edge in shots on target. The Lions did not allow a goal in the first half game.
Alejandro Quiriti made his seventh start of the season as goalie for Florida Memorial and came away with the win, thanks in part to four saves on the evening.
The Lions return to action on Wednesday, October 19, 2015, when they play host to Johnson and Wales University for a 5:00 p.m. showdown.
