MIAMI GARDENS, Fla - Florida Memorial men's soccer pulled off a 2-1 win over St. Thomas University on Tuesday evening at Bobcat Field. Florida Memorial used a balanced offensive attack to steal the win. With the win, The Lions will earn its sixth-consecutive at-large Sun Conference tournament berth. Florida Memorial finished sixth in The Sun Conference with a 5-3-1 record.

Maximiliano Schendfeld got the Lions on the board in the 53
rd minute of the match.
Schendfeld blasted his shot into the right side corner of the net to tie the game at 1-1.The second half went back and forth until the 77
th minute of play when
Maximiliano Schendfeld got his second goal of the game and helped the Lions run away with the victory.
The Lions controlled the game with a 13-7 edge in shots and an 4-1 edge in shots on target, and did not allow a goal in the first half.
Alejandro Quirti started as goalie for Florida Memorial and came away with the win.
