Men's Baseball Takes Game 1 from Warner

Florida Memorial University opened a three-game series against Warner University, Friday night. The Lions exploded for ten run on nine hits, winning out, 10-8.


The Lions dominated early, taking a 4-1, lead after second innings. Morales scored from second in the bottom of the first after Marrufo walked with the bases loaded.

 
Emilio Marrufo led the charge with two runs in the game. Lance Mansfield went 2-for-5 with 1 RBI and two runs scored. Kevin Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with 5 RBI and one home run.

Yoanquy Martinez picked up his first win of the season for the Lions

 Florida Memorial will face Trinity Baptist College on Friday at 3pm
