Men's Baseball Beats #25 Taylor University in Series Opener

 
Florida Memorial Men's Baseball Team open the  2018 season  with a 2-0 victory over #25 Taylor University, Saturday afternoon at Harry T Moore Field. Florida Memorial improved to 1-1 overall.
 


Christian Rivera threw five innings scattering one hit and allowing no run while striking out nine batters to improve to 1-0 on the mound.  Emilio Marrufo led the way for the Lions going 1-for-3 with one run and two RBI's.  Marruffo  also drove in the game winning run in the bottom of the 6th inning for the Lions. Rob Fox  took the loss  on the mound for Taylor .
 
Florida Memorial will return to action on Saturday January 27, 2018 when they travel to Broward College  at 12pm.
