The FMU men's soccer (1-8, 1-5 TSC) team traveled to Ave Maria, FL to take on the Gyrenes of Ave Maria University (7-8, 3-3-1 TSC) on Saturday Night. 

The Gyrenes were honoring their senior class team members during what turned out to be a memorable night for Ave Maria University. For the first twenty-four minutes, the match was scoreless, until Kaveon Dux found the back of the net for his first of two goals of the night. The first half ended with three total goals for the Gyrenes on 6 shots. During the second half the Gyrenes would score two more goals on six more shots. 

The Lions were very aggressive throughout the match as they had twenty-one shots on goal but only found the back of the net once. Mauricio Rodriguez scored the only goal for FMU. Ave Maria was more efficient, scoring five goals on twelve shots.

Not only was it Senior Night for Ave Maria University but the win set a record for most victories in program history with seven.
