The Florida Memorial University Lions Men's Soccer team (1-10, 1-6 TSC) Traveled to Lakeland, FL to take on Southeastern University Fire (10-2-1, 6-1 TSC).
The Fire was too much for the Lions to handle as the were defeated by the number one team in The Sun Conference, 1-5.
Southeastern's Grayson Wilkes had a hat trick as he scored one goal in the first half and two in the second half. Both teams kept the goal keepers busy as there was a total of 19 shots on goal. For the Fire, Jorge Navarete and Logan Whitney each had three saves.
Jordy Elera substituted into the match for the Lions during the sixty-third minute and quickly found the back of the net converting on a Southeastern foul into a goal during the seventy-second minute. The Lions goal keeper,
Angel Garcia had seven saves.
The Lions will play next on Monday, Oct. 22nd, at Palm Beach Atlantic University at 7:00 P.M.
