The Lions of Florida Memorial University (1-5, 0-1 TSC) traveled to Jacksonville, FL to take on the Dolphins of Jacksonville University (2-4)
The Lions kept the game competitive during the first half of this game. The Dolphins would jump out to a 15-8 lead but the Lions would roar back and get to within two points, 17-19 behind a
Jordan Martin 3 pointer. The first half would end with the score 54-44. Although the Lions would be down by ten points at the half they were still within striking distance.
The second half was a different story at the Dolphins were too much for the Lions to handle. Within five minutes of the second half the Dolphins were up by twenty points and had no intentions of slowing down. They would blow out the Lions 123-77.
The Dolphins were led by JD Notae with 40 points. The difference in this game was the amount of fast break points that the Dolphins scored, 42 compared to the Lions 10. The Dolphins bench outscored the Lions bench 62-21.
