The Lady Lions of Florida Memorial University (11-15, 4-12 TSC) took on Faulkner University of Alabama as a back to back game in Lakeland, FL. 

The Lady Lions looked like they had spent their energy against Southeastern in the first game as they could not get anything going on the second half of a back to back game. The Lady Lions came out in the first set and only hit a .026 hitting percentage. With the Lady Lions up 12-10 they gave up an eight point run that Faulkner took advantage of and closed out the Lady Lions 25-18.

The offense continued to sputter in the second set, FMU was only able to muster up a -.065 hitting percentage. The Lady Lions kept things close early on as the score was tied 10-10 but another Faulkner run, this time five points, would spell doom for FMU as Faulkner would close out the second set 25-14. 

In the third set, Faulkner would capture the first point, the initial lead and never look back. Faulkner would build an 18-12 lead and capture the third and final set 25-19. The Lions had a negative hitting percentage for the match as Faulkner's defense was too much the Lady Lions to penetrate for points.

Leading the way for the Lady Lions was Jazmin Molina with sixteen digs and ten service points and Francheska Rivera with eleven assists and eleven service points. 

This would prove to be the final match of the 2018 campaign for the Lady Lions as they finished the season 11-15, 4-12 TSC.
