The University of the Bahamas men's basketball team (0-5) traveled states side to take on the Lions of Florida Memorial University (3-10, 0-5 TSC) on Thursday night at the FMU Wellness Center.
The Lions defeated the University of the Bahamas 81-75 and improved their record to 3-10 and have won two games out of their last four. The Lions had four players in double figures and shot 44% from the field and 41% from three point range as a team.
Jordan Martin had an outstanding game making good decisions and creating good shots. He shot 75% from the field, 100% from 3 point range, and 83% from thr free throw line. He led all scores with 26 points and had 5 assists.
Eugene Harvey scored a double double, 13 rebounds and 10 points.
Isaiah Darrett was a game changer for the Lions. His effort and aggressiveness did not show on the stats sheet but his play did influence his team in a positive way as he led his team to victory with his effort.
Catch the Lions next Tuesday, Dec.18th, at the FMU Wellness Center at 7:00 p.m. as they take on Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
