(MIAMI GARDENS, FLA.) -- Florida Memorial University's men's and women's soccer teams will host Ave Maria and Thomas University Saturday, September 28.
 
On the men's side, the Lions will play their first conference game of the season against the Gyrenes. 

Earlier this season, Florida Memorial defeated Ave Maria 4-2 in a non-conference matchup, giving the Lions their only win of the season thus far. 

FMU sits at 1-4 overall, while AMU is winless at 0-6-2. 

For the women, the last time these two teams competed, the Night Hawks came away with a 4-0 victory.
 
Earlier this week the Lions took to the field against neighborhood rival St. Thomas University for an unfavorable outcome (0-10).
 
FMU is now 0-1 in conference play and 0-7 overall.
 
Thomas University, after gaining a victory over Webber International University, currently sits in a three-way tie for first place in conference standings at 1-0. Their overall record stands at 5-4 overall record.
 
The games will take place at Emmanuel "Manno" Sanon Soccer Park in Little Haiti. The men's game will begin at 11:30 A.M. followed by the women's contest at 2:00 P.M.
