Lions fall short in South Carolina vs. SCAD Savannah

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. | Florida Memorial (0-4, 0-3) dropped a road conference match by the score of 11-0 to SCAD Savannah in Sun Conference action.

Brazilian midfielder Driade Freitas was busy in the midfield all afternoon and generated the Lions' only shot of the day. Teammate Jamya Foster returned to the pitch after a two-match absence.

FMU goalkeeper Hailey Ilijin produced 15 saves while allowing eight goals in the loss.

As a team FMU finished with five fouls compared to their counterpart, SCAD, who finished with 14 total fouls.

The Lions return to action on Thursday, October 13 as they return to Florida to face Keiser in conference play. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. in West Palm Beach.
