HARDEEVILLE, S.C. | Florida Memorial (1-7-2, 1-3-0) dropped a road conference match to SCAD Savannah by the score of 3-2 in Sun Conference competition.
FMU got off to a slow start and allowed a goal in the second minute of action, then battled until SCAD added another goal in the 26th minute. However, the Lions answered back in the 41st minute when striker
Brad Tulley scored his sixth goal of the season, bringing the score to 2-1 in favor of SCAD.
In the second half, SCAD scored an insurance goal in the 76th minute before the Lions responded with another goal from Tulley in the 83rd minute of the match, but FMU could not find the equalizer before the final whistle.
Tulley finished with a game-high eight shots, including five on target.
The Lions return to action on Tuesday, October 11 as they host conference rival St. Thomas in the Battle of Miami Gardens. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Broward College South Campus.
