WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. | Florida Memorial won their second-straight conference game, this time by the score of 70-61 over Keiser at the Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center. The win lifts the Lady Lions to 2-1 in conference competition as they head to Thanksgiving break.
FMU was led by Aliyah Deen-Ahmad as she poured in 21 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field, including 9-of-10 from the charity stripe. In 31 minutes of action, she also grabbed five boards and produced three steals in the victory while teammate Jasmine Worthy finished with 12 points and four boards before fouling out.

Chantel Barnett filled the stat sheet, scoring 10 points to go along with three boards, two assists and one steal before fouling out of the ball game.
As a team, FMU shot 25-for-62 from the field (40 percent) while holding their opponent to 19-of-53 from the floor (36 percent). FMU's defensive intensity pressured the Lady Seahawks all night long, forcing 23 turnovers while committing 14.
The Lady Lions return to action on Saturday, November 26 as they host the Virgin Islands. Tip-off is set for 12 noon at the FMU Wellness Center.
