TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. | Florida Memorial fell on the road to Florida College in a sweep by the Falcons (25-14, 25-17, 25-13).

Transfer Bethania Barreto led the team with 10 kills while graduate student Agustina Busque led the team with six assists. Amiya Harden and Busque each added three kills for the Lions.

FMU drops to 3-8 on the year, having lost their last six games in succession.

The Lions return to action Wednesday, October 18 where they will travel down the road to St. Thomas to take on the Bobcats. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Fernandez Family Center.
