AVE MARIA, Fla. | Florida Memorial, winners of three of their last four games prior to tip-off, fell on the road to a tough Ave Maria squad by the score of 106-73 at the Donahue Gym.

Post player Jordan Watkins was the high man for the Lions as he finished with a team-high 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the field while teammate Tavin Pierre-Philippe produced 12 points and hit 3-of-4 three-pointers.

As a team, FMU was outrebounded 47-26 and generated a season-low seven assists while committing 14 turnovers. Florida Memorial struggled defensively on the interior, giving up 62 points in the paint.

FMU returns to action on Saturday, February 11 as they host Southeastern in Sun Conference action. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
