WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. | Florida Memorial traveled to West Palm Beach to take on Keiser in a three game conference series. FMU took care of business in game one, winning 11-1 but struggled in the next day's doubleheader, losing 1-11 and 3-13. The Lions drop the series as they fall to fourth place in the SUN conference standings.

FMU took the lead in the top of the first, with a run scored by Jalen Young and a two-run shot by Allan Berrios. The Lions extended their lead in the top of the second with runs scored by Nathan Harris, Reinaldo Prieto, Young and Ulises Rodriguez, giving the Lions a 7-0 advantage. An RBI-double by Young in the third scored Harris and Levis Aguila, giving the Lions a 9-0 lead. Gabriel Marinez stole home to close out a dominant third inning for FMU.
Keiser scored a run in the bottom of the third to make the score 10-1 but a sacrifice fly-RBI by Aguila scored Luis Ruiz in the top of the fourth to seal the win for the Lions 11-1.
Max Charnin started all seven innings, allowing just seven hits, one run, two walks as he struck out three Seahawks batters.

Keiser scored the first two runs of the doubleheader in the bottom of the third. The Seahawks scored another run in the bottom of the fourth giving them a 3-0 lead.
An RBI-single by Rodriguez scored Young in the top of the sixth, closing the gap 3-1. However, Keiser responded by scoring another run in the bottom of the sixth, extending their lead to 4-1.
Keiser then scored five runs in the seventh and eighth innings combined, putting the game out of reach for the Lions and splitting the series with the 11-1 win, a reverse score of the series opener.
William Hiciano started on the mound for the Lions and in five innings, allowed nine hits, four runs, two walks as he struck out three Seahawks batters. Jamal Johnson came in relief for Hiciano and in two innings, allowed five hits, seven runs, and one walk as he struck out two Seahawks batters. Jerryk Caceras finished the game for Florida Memorial, allowing one hit and one walk.
The Lions took an early lead in game three with an RBI-single by Ivan Zambrano that scored Raymond Rivera in the top of the second inning. Keiser scored four runs in the bottom of the third to take a quick a 4-1 lead.
FMU responded when Marinez scored the second run of the game for the Lions off an RBI from Rodriguez in the top of the fifth. However, Keiser exploded with score seven runs in the bottom of the fifth, extending their lead to 11-2. A home run by Aguila in the top of the sixth closed the gap 11-3, but two runs by Keiser in the bottom of the seventh widened the gap once more, sealing the fate for the Lions with a 13-3 loss.
Anthony Molina started the first four innings on the mound and allowed ten hits, eight runs, three walks while striking out two batters. Kyle Morrison came in relief for Molina and allowed five hits, five runs, three walks while striking out two Seahawks batters.
The Lions return to action Friday April 7, where they will host St. Thomas in a three-game series in the Battle of Miami Gardens. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Harry T. Moore Baseball Field.
