The loss brings the series to 0-3 between the Florida Memorial Lions and the Grambling State Tigers. The G-Men defeated Florida Memorial 21-0 in 1947, then again in 1948 by the score of 46-7.
The Lions return to action on Saturday, September 23 as they host John Melvin for their home opener. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Betty T. Ferguson Stadium in Miami Gardens.
