MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | No. 22 Florida Memorial University erased a halftime deficit to upset No. 19 Baker 89-82 at the FMU Wellness Center in a thrilling NAIA top-25 contest. The win lifts the Lions to a perfect 5-0 on the season.
Despite trailing 39-33 at the break, the Lions poured in nearly 60 second-half points to pull off the upset.
FMU produced five scorers in double figures, including a team-high 18 points from guard
Terrin Hamilton, who also grabbed seven boards and dished out two assists while teammates
Felix Uadiale and
Latavious Mitchell both generated 17 points and six rebounds apiece.

Elijah Tate connected on 4-of-7 from the field, including 2-of-4 from downtown as he finished with 15 points in the victory.
As a team, FMU's bench mob outscored Baker's bench 35-20, adding a much needed spark for the Lions.
