MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University took care of business on senior day, dismantling Lincoln (Calif.) 48-8 at Betty T. Ferguson Stadium.
Lions running back
Walter Wilbon III rushed for 159 yards and scored two rushing touchdowns, including a 64-yard touchdown run in the first half. The senior finished the season with 1,105 rushing yards, setting a new FMU single-season rushing record in the modern era, since the program resurfaced in 2020.

David Buggs threw one touchdown pass to senior
Christian Edgerson before being replaced by
Demarcus McEachern, who threw two touchdown passes in the second half.

George Young rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown while McEachern also gained 44 yards on the ground.
On the defensive end, senior
Antwan Davis led the team with eight tackles and produced one tackle for loss while teammate
Mickell Rucker added six tackles. Defensive lineman
Jakai Linwood generated the teams' only sack and added five tackles, including two for loss.

Charles Philias all produced interceptions for FMU, while Philias took his all the way to the house for a 32-yard interception returned for a touchdown.

Henry Calaxtie both grabbed a touchdown reception in the huge victory, which lifts the Lions to 6-3-1 on the year.
