LAKE WALES, Fla. | The last game of the four-game series between Florida Memorial and Warner ends in a 10-0 defeat, resulting in the Lions being swept in all four games by the Royals. Despite keeping up with the Royals with five hits to Warner's six, the Lions could not convert the hits into runs as they were shut out for only the second time this season.
Warner two runs in the bottom of the first, before scoring one run each in the second and third innings. The Lions shut out the Royals in the bottom of the fourth before Warner answered with a three-run bottom of the fifth followed by a run in the bottom of the sixth. Two additional runs in the bottom of the seventh sealed the deal as the game was ended early on the mercy rule, resulting in the 10-0 loss.
Sophomore
Daniel Ramos (0-1) was credited with the loss. In 1.2 innings pitched he allowed two hits and three earned runs along with four walks while striking out two Royals. Ricardo Alverez came in relief and in 2.1 innings pitched allowed one hit, one earned run, and one walk. Junior
