KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 2024 NAIA Competitive Cheer All-Americans have been announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) after the conclusion of the 8th Annual Nfinity NAIA National Championship as Florida Memorial's Adiyah Allen, Jayada Rouse, and Jamiyah West were named to the elite squad. This is the first time in the program's young history that FMU has had All-Americans named.
In addition, Carlos Fetterer of St. Ambrose (Iowa), Trey Galvan of Saint Mary (Kan.), Martavious Owten of St. Ambrose (Iowa), and Dylan Sonnier of Xavier (La.) all posted perfect scores of 20 to earn Co-Cheerleader of the Year honors.
The All-America teams are determined by the national championship judges and they are graded on a scale where 16+ places someone on the First Team, 14.5-15.99 on the Second Team, and 12.0-14.49 on the Third Team. Student-Athletes are recorded doing four elements: toe tuck, triple jump combination, round off back handspring full twisting layout, and stunts. They are graded on a scale of 1-5 ranging from poor form and technique to superior form and technique.
Jayada Rouse

Year: Sophomore
Major: Criminal Justice
Hometown: Las Vegas, Nev.
Desert Oasis High School
Jayada, a powerful main base and tumbler, is a second-team NAIA All-American who was also a 2023 SSAC All-Conference selection. Rouse hails from California All-Stars-Vegas where she was a member of their level 6 "Aces" team that globed at Cheer Worlds in 2019.
Jamiyah West
Position: Flyer
Year: Freshman
Major: Law and government
Hometown: Las Vegas, Nev.
Sierra Vista High School
Jamiyah, a third-team NAIA All-American, is a dynamic flyer who earned 2024 SSAC All-Conference honors and SSAC Freshman of the Year. West is also a member of California All-Stars Vegas level 6 "Aces" team that globed at Cheer Worlds in 2019.
