LAKE WALES, Fla. | Florida Memorial University put on a clinic in Lake Wales, resulting in a 97-74 win over Warner for its first conference win of the season. The Lions controlled the game from start to finish, and had contributions from the entire team, with five players scoring 10 points or more for FMU.
Teammates
Jeffrey Selden and
Cameron Noel co-lead in scoring with 15 points each, with Selden going 5-of-9 from the field, and Noel going 6-of-9, along with going 3-of-5 from the three-point line. Selden also added six rebounds, tying teammates
Aa'reyon Munir-Jones and
D'Andre Dues in leading the team. Sophomore
Sehmaj Mentor added 13 points for FMU, while junior
Devin Carter scored 12 for FMU. Teammates
Morgan Brewer and
Petar Asceric chipped in 10 points each for the Lions.
The win advances FMU to 4-2 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.
