LAKE WALES, Fla. | Florida Memorial University took care of busniess against Warner, defeating the Royals 55-46 for its first conference win of the season. The Lions controlled the first half, outscoring Warner 26-12, and set the pace in the second half to take home the victory.

Kalea Rainey had her second-straight 20-point performance, going 5-of-16 from the field, and 10-of-12 at the free throw line. Senior
Alicia Bates was a stealing machine, totaling 11 on the day, along with 12 points, earning a double-double. Junior
Dibora Leaf added 10 points for the Lions, while sophomore
Jazlynn Givens led the team in rebounds with seven.
The win moves FMU to 2-1 on the year and 1-1 in conference play.
