As a team, FMU scored 36 points in the paint compared to just 18 for the Mariners.
In typical fashion, the Lions' bench outscored the Mariners' bench 33-24.
Florida Memorial University returns to the court on Saturday, February 15 as they host St. Thomas for Friends and Family Day as well as Senior Day. Tip-off for the Battle of Miami Gardens is slated for 4 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
