MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | No. 20 Florida Memorial University had their 5-game win streak snapped as they fell at home to No. 18 Keiser 75-57 at the FMU Wellness Center in the regular season finale.
FMU got behind early and trailed 23-5 in the first portion of the contest and never could fully recover as Keiser eventually led 36-23 at the break.
The Lions were led by senior
Latavious Mitchell, who finished with a double-double, scoring a game-high 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field while grabbing 10 boards.
Teammates
Calvin Payton and Felix Uadlale both added 13 points apiece, with the latter grabbing nine boards in the loss.

As a team, FMU was outscored 40 to 30 in the paint while the bench mob generated 16 points compared to 24 for Keiser. While the Lions committed 18 turnovers, the Seahawks managed less than 10 turnovers for the contest and played efficient basketball throughout the night.
In the end, Keiser finished with 27 attempts from the free throw line while FMU attempted just 14.
