TAMPA, Fla. — Webber International opens the 2026 Sun Conference beach volleyball season as the preseason favorite, earning 117 points and seven first-place votes in the annual poll of league head coaches. The Warriors are the reigning Sun Conference Tournament Champions, having claimed the title for the fourth consecutive season.
Mobile is voted second with 112 points and four first-place votes after capturing the Sun Conference Regular Season crown a year ago by going undefeated in conference play. Both Webber and Mobile also competed at the NAIA Invitational last season.
Loyola checks in third in the preseason poll with 97 points, followed by William Carey with 82 points and one first-place vote. Ave Maria (79 points) and New College (78 points) sit close behind, separated by just one point.
Truett McConnell earned 62 points to place seventh, while Warner follows with 54 points. St. Thomas received 46 points to rank ninth.
Brenau and Spartanburg Methodist are tied for 10th with 24 points apiece, and Florida Memorial rounds out the preseason rankings with 17 points.
