LAKELAND, Fla. | Florida Memorial University struggled against Southeastern on the road, losing to the Fire 72-56, resulting in a season sweep.
Junior
Kalea Rainey led the team in scoring with 15 points, along with six rebounds. Senior
Jasmine Worthy added 10 points for FMU, along with six rebounds, while junior
Sa'mya Stevens chipped in nine points. Sophomore
Jazlynn Givens led the team in rebounds with seven.
The loss drops FMU to 9-7 on the year and 4-5 in conference play.
FMU returns to action Wednesday, January 28 for Divine Nine Day against Warner. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center. Purchase tickets using
