MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University defeated Florida National 77-67 at the FMU Wellness Center, in the second game of the new year. FMU opened an eight-point lead at the first half, which they maintain and extended after a tight second half to grab their 10th win of the season.
Graduate student
Jeffrey Selden led the team in scoring with 19 points, going 6-of-9 from the field, while co-leading the team in rebounds with eight. Sophomore
Cameron Noel was right behind Selden with 18 points, along with eight rebounds. Junior
Devin Carter capped off a trio of Lions scoring double-digits, with Carter scoring 11 points on 5-of-9 from the field.
The win moves FMU to 10-6 on the season.
FMU returns to action Wednesday, January 7, where they'll host Webber International for Service Day. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. Purchase tickets using
