MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University honored four of its seniors during its annual Senior Day.
Devin Carter,
Cameron Noel,
Maximo Moratinos, and
Morgan Brewer were all honored for their last home game as an FMU lion. Unfortunately, St. Thomas played the role of spoiler and defeated FMU 87-80 on Senior Day.
Carter led the team in scoring with 23 points, while Noel added 16 points for FMU. Graduate student
Jeffrey Selden scored 13 points, while leading the team in rebounds with five. Brewer added 12 points for the Lions.
The loss drops FMU to 18-9 on the year and 10-5 in conference play.
FMU returns to action Wednesday, February 18 for the regular season finale against No. 9 Keiser. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. at the Massimino Court.
