LAKE WALES, Fla. | Florida Memorial University fell to Warner on the road 10-3 in game one of the series. Despite the loss, the Lions showed strong signs of improvement, scoring a season-high, three runs, and a season-high, six hits.

Ariyuana DuPont,
Leny Hoyos, and
Alyssa Estrada all scored runs for the Lions. Estrada (0-4), suffered her first loss of the season, allowing only three earned runs in the game.
The loss drops FMU to 0-15 on the year and 0-7 in conference play.
The Lions return to action Wednesday, March 25, for the doubleheader against Warner. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. at Daly Field.
