MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University was swept by No. 11 Keiser, following losses in both games of the doubleheader, losing game two, 16-0, and game three, 13-0.

Duel-sport athlete Irene Lainez (0-1) started for the Lions on the mound in game two, allowing 17 hits and four earned runs in five innings. First baseman Mariana Gongora, recorded the team's lone hit in game one. Leny Hoyos (0-6) got the nod in game three, allowing 19 hits and eight earned runs in five innings. Center fielder Ariyuana DuPont recorded the team's lone hit in the game.

The losses drop FMU to 0-20 on the year and 0-12 in conference play.

FMU returns to action Tuesday, April 7, for the series opener against Webber. First pitch is slated for noon at Walt Frazier Park.
