Genesis Nunez joined the FMU baseball team in spring of 2023.

A native to Santiago, Dominican Republic, Nunez previously attended Lindenwood University from 2021-2022, where he played on the baseball team. Nunez graduated from Newtown High School in 2018, where he played under head coach Ramon Canela and played in the junior all-star game, senior all-star game and mayors cup all-star game.

Nunez chose FMU because of the weather and baseball program. His favorite part about FMU is baseball. Nunez's interests include:
