Cesar Herrero joined the FMU men's soccer team in fall 2024.

A native to Puerto Cabello, Venezuela, Herrero previously attended Jarvis Christian University for one year under current FMU men's soccer coach David Martinez. He graduated from Unidad Educativa Colegio Niño Jesús in 2017 where he played on the men's soccer team. He played for Academia for 10 years under head coach Michael Belmonte. He won the national championship in the under 15 and 19 catagories and was team captain for multiple years.
