Lasseur, a Fort Valley State University graduate and 16-year coaching veteran, joined FMU in January 2020. He spent 13 seasons at Booker T. Washington – many of which under Harris. During his tenure with the Tornadoes, Lasseur coached the offensive line, took on the role of run game coordinator in 2015 and helped lead the program to five state championships (2012-15 & 2019).
