Rafael Coronado joined the FMU men's soccer team in fall 2024.

A native to Puerto Ordaz, Coronado previously attended Jarvis Christian University where he played under current FMU head men's soccer coach David Martinez. He graduated from Colegio Loyola Gumilla in 2021 where he played on the soccer team.

Coronado played for the Caracas team from 2021-2023, where he was champion of Venezuela in the U20 category.

Coronado chose FMU because he wanted to study and play soccer in Miami. His favorite part about FMU is the soccer field. Coronado's interests include:
