Ryan Huffman

Ryan Huffman begins his first year at Florida Memorial University as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
 
Coach Huffman has an extensive background in the field of sports performance, and has worked with athletes at the high school, NCAA, and professional levels.  Huffman joins FMU after spending some time as an independent human performance specialist in South Florida
 
As a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Florida Atlantic University,  Huffman graduated with a Master of Science degree in exercise physiology.  He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University (OH) while also volunteering for the strength and conditioning department.  Additionally, he spent time as a volunteer at the University of Akron.
 
Huffman is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Level I Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Specialist, a Certified Level I Precision Nutrition Coach, as well as holds several other movement specific certifications.
 
He has a background as a football, wrestling, and track and field athlete.
 
Huffman graduated from Kenston High School in his native city of Bainbridge, Ohio.
