Coach Daniel Adrian Radice enters his first year as the head men’s soccer coach for Florida Memorial University.
A native of Miami, Florida, Radice’s family has roots in the soccer-rich country of Argentina – which played a huge role in his beginning to play soccer at the age of 4 and continues to play to this day.
Prior to joining the Lions, Radice served as an assistant coach at Johnson & Wales University (Fla.) under Phil Zayas for six seasons. In his tenure with JWU, the men’s soccer program saw a big turnaround, going from a below .500 team in his first couple of seasons to the program reaching the conference finals in the 2020 season.
Radice also served as the head boys' soccer coach at West Broward High School (Fla.) and an assistant coach at Hialeah American Senior High School (Fla.) for six years. During his tenure at American, the Patriots won three district titles, one Greater Miami Athletic Conference (GMAC) championship, and a regional championship.
Before transitioning into coaching, Radice enjoyed a successful playing career.
He played club soccer at two prominent clubs in South Florida (Miami Lakes Optimist and Weston Fury) and was a part two teams that reached of the United States Youth Soccer (USYSA) National Championship twice.
Radice played high school soccer at Plantation American Heritage, where he was a part of state championship team in 2005 that ended up ranked the No. 3 high school team in the country. During his high school career, Radice received All-Broward County honors from local publications.
Radice elected to continue his soccer career at St. Thomas University (Fla.), where he received “Rookie of the Year” honors from for the men’s soccer team.
Radice graduated from St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Administration, with a minor in Communications.
