Tyrieke Spaulding joined the FMU men's soccer team in fall of 2022.

A native to Jamaica, Spaulding graduated from Excelsior High School in Mountain View Kingston, Jamaica in 2022. Under head coach Xavier Gilbert, Spaulding went to semi finals in the High School Walker Cup Championship. In 2022, Spaulding played for the club team Arnett Gardens in Kingston, Jamaica under head coach Paul Davis.

Spaulding chose FMU because he thought it would be the best place for him to accomplish his dreams. It’s also similar to his country, such as the climate food and people so he knew he was going to adapt to the environment well. His favorite part of FMU is representing the school in the school colors.
