Dasiah Thornton joined the FMU women's basketball team in fall of 2023.

A native to Boston, Mass., Thornton previously attended Barry University for three years where she played on the women's volleyball team. Thornton graduated from Fenway High School in Roxbury, Ma. in 2019 where she played under head coach John Rice. She played multiple sports including Soccer, Softball, and Track & Field.
