Madison Sjogreen joined the FMU women basketball team in fall of 2023.

A native to Plantation, Fla., Sjorgreen previously attended St. Thomas University from 2018-2023. Playing on the women's basketball team, she was a part of the All-Conference Academic team from 2021-2023. Sjorgreen graduated from Piper High School in Sunrise, Fla. in 2018. Under head coach Jerrod Wright, she earned four varsity letters and played in four different sports, including basketball, golf, softball, and flag football, where she was also named captian. Before attending Piper, she prevously attended South Plantation High School. She also participated in magnet for environmental science and Everglades restoration.

Sjorgreen previously played for the Nicaragua National Team in Managua, Nicaragua, where she competed for one year under head coach David Rosario. 

Sjorgreen chose FMU because of the family & winning culture. Her favorite part about FMU is it’s a new start with endless opportunities.
