Anna Maliszewska was named Florida Memorial University's head women's soccer coach in February 2021.
She enters her third season as a women's soccer coach at Florida Memorial University -- serving as an assistant coach and interim head coach prior to being name the head coach.
Prior to joining the Lions staff, Coach Maliszewska was an assistant coach at Tropical Soccer Club and the Head Coach at United Stars Soccer Club since 2013 leading the boys teams to multiple state championships.
Under her leadership, the United Stars Soccer club won the President Cup State of Florida Champion in 2017 and 2019. The team also won the President Cup State of Florida Champion Regional Championship in 2017; finished as the President Cup State of Florida National third place team in 2017; and was the President Cup State of Florida Regional runner-up in 2019.
Maliszewska is a former WPSL soccer player with the Miami Surf and South Florida Strikers. She served as captain and received honorable mention while scoring a hat trick in a 4-1 victory over 2011 Sunshine Conference Champion FSA Freedom.
Maliszewska earned her bachelors degree in Physical Education at Gdansk University in Poland as well as her masters degree in Tourism and Recreation Studies. She also holds her National “F", “E“, “D“ and “C“ US Soccer licenses.
Maliszewska was born in Bialogard, Poland, the daughter of war veteran Ryszard Maliszewski and Danuta Trykacz. She lives in Hollywood, Florida with her husband Jorge Calix and son Nicolas.
