Mallory "Mal" Pastorius joined the FMU women's soccer team in fall of 2022.

A native to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mal grew up in Pompano Beach, Fla. She graduated from Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, Fla. in 2022 under head coach Jordan Edouard. Mal played a multitude of sports including four varsity years of women's soccer, two varsity years in volleyball and two varsity years in softball, three of those years she was named captain. Mal was also on her school's debate team.

Mal played for the Fort Lauderdale Rush team in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for 10 years under head coach Coach Olfa.

Mal chose FMU because of the culture and the coaches that have brought out the best in her abilities. Her favorite part about FMU is the sports and connections made at the school.

Mal has a hidden talent in drawing and most of her family are musicians. The most influential person in her life is her mom.
