Biography
Oneilia Yearde joined the FMU women's soccer team in fall of 2021.
A native to Kingston, Jamaica, Yearde graduated from Wolmer’s High School for Girls in Kingston, Jamaica in 2019. She played for the Reinas Academy, Jamaican Women’s National Team u15, and u17 teams in Kingston. She played one year for the club team and four years for the national team, winning the Caribbean Football Union u17 championship with the national team.
Yearde's favorite part about FMU is the diversity but also the inclusivity. She can experience so many other people and their different cultures but she's also still able to interact with like minded people and also people from her country so she gets to feel like she's at a home away from home.
