Julia Carneiro joined the FMU volleyball team in fall 2024.

A native to Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, Carneiro previously attended Neosho County Community College for two years, where she was named third-team all-american. She graduated from Colégio Adventista de Novo Hamburgo in 2021. Carneiro played for Sociedade Ginástica for three years.

Carneiro chose FMU because of the athletic and academic opportunities and the warm weather. Her favorite part about FMU is being able to play both volleyball and beach volleyball. Carneiro's interests include:
