Lauryn Brown joined the FMU volleyball team in fall 2024.

A native to Houston, Texas, Brown graduated from Alief Hasting High School in 2024. Under head coach Sharonda Marshall she earned multiple accolades, including: MVP, first-team all-district, offensive player of the year, and defensive player of the year.

Brown chose FMU because she wanted to have an amazing HBCU experience with an amazing hard-driven coach. Her favorite part about FMU is the culture. Brown's interests include:
